Yvonne's work is based on drawings and sketchbook studies interpreted
on a larger scale in pastel, charcoal and paint. Her interest at present
is in the colours and the patterns that she sees everyday in her
surroundings. Yvonne uses a variety of materials, making a suitable decision
on media when working on the piece. Familiar natural forms are a starting
point to the designs her stone carvings.
Yvonne is also a member of
the Leicester Society of Artists, Leicester Print Workshop and a founder
