Carole studied fabric design and ceramics at Leicester College of Art in the 1960s where she attained a National Diploma in Design. She taught in Primary Education until she had her family and continued to attend adult education classes in drawing and painting and also ceramics. She has come to work in pastel because of her love of colour and texture and for the directness of the medium.
Carole has recently been exhibiting her work in Leicestershire including the Leicester City Gallery Open Exhibition.
