Liz has always enjoyed sketching and painting and
developed a love of colour during a pre-Diploma course at Leicester College
of Art.
Water colour painting, especially of flowers, occupied her interest for a
long while. More recently, she has enjoyed combining water colours with
pastels. Holidays on the UK's narrow canals, in Scotland and Italy have all
provided her with inspiration. A recent painting course in the Exe estuary
prompted an interest in coastal scenes and reflections.
